Summer Fest
August 20, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Stroll through City Park, play bingo for prizes and enjoy great picnic food. Train rides and musical entertainment included. Food and enterainment provided by Brookdale Senior Living and Home Instead Senior Care.
Cost is $2.
Pool Tournament
August 15, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Individual 8-ball competition! Refreshments provided with a break for lunch. Prizes awarded to the top three winners.
The cost for the Pool Tournament is $11.50.
Bank of Choice Tribute Series: A Tribute to John Denver
August 31, 7:00-9:00 PM (Doors open at 5:00 PM)
The second in the 2008 Tribute Series will feature Brad Fitch and his band in an outdoor setting performing the songs made famous by John Denver. "Rocky Mountain High," "Country Roads," "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" are just some of those songs. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. No outside food or drink allowed.
The cost is $20. This is an outdoor concert at the Senior Center. In the event of rain, the event will move inside.
13th Annual Cemetery Stroll
September 20, Performances begin promptly at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM
This year the Cemetery Stroll will recognize the 100th anniversary of the inception of the Cache la Poudre Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Founded April 6, 1908, the original members included very influential women of the Fort Collins area: Lerah McHugh, Ida Warren, Alice Tedmon, Clara Fillette, Emeline Post, Mary Carpenter, Anna Tedmon, Elizabeth Stratton, Florence Malcouronne and Sophie Anderson. Each had an important relationship to their families because they were sisters, mothers and wives of people who were directly responsible for the settling and development of the Fort Collins community. Meet these interesting people and take in the wonders of Grandview Cemetery and its' beautiful landscape.
The cost is $6 and is located at Grandview Cemetery.

Fort Collins Senior Sports Club
The 31st Annual Rocky Mountain Senior Games at June 18-22 in Greeley.

The Fort Collins Senior Sports Club is an organization that meets the needs of older adults who are interested in physical activities and enjoy active pursuits. If you are 50 or older and enjoy being active, the Senior Sports Club is for you. FCSSC offers opportunities for older adults to participate in sports and activities, meet other individuals who share the same interests and participate in a number of athletic and social events.

SOAPE Troup (Slighty Older Adult Players)
Membership in this theater group is open to all Senior Center members age 50+. Whether you are experienced or a beginnin player, your talent can be used to act, pound nails, sew, sing and/or write. Monthly programs and activities are planned. Interested persons are encouraged to attend a meeting. Club dues are only $10 annually.
General membership meeting is the 4th Tuesday of each month from 3:00-5:00 PM.
Front Range Forum
The Front Range Forum is a learning-in-retirement organization sponsored by the City of Fort Collins. Courses are member-generated and facilitated. There are varied discussion groups that require active participation and some research and reading. Members may take as many classes as they wish once the annual fee of only $15 has been paid. Rental Information
Rent Space at the Senior Center!
Located at 1200 Raintree Dr. The Senior Center features three large multi-use rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. For conferences or meetings, the center has TVs, VCRs, projectors, a sound system, a podium, assisted listening devices, a large lobby for reception and 160 parking spaces.
