It's the neighborly thing to do, isn't it? If you've noticed new neighbors have moved in and you just haven't had a chance to go over and introduce yourself yet, here's a little incentive. Neighborhood Services offers Welcome Bags for new residents who have moved in within the past month and are within a one block radius from where you live. It's a great way to welcome a new neighbor.
The Welcome Bag includes pertinent pamphlets and information, some fun trinkets, basic information about city ordinances and a dozen cookie dough balls. You can bake these dough balls and include the cookies in the bag when you deliver it to your neighbor for a great home-baked treat. Some neighbors even add their own small treats for new neighbors.
