The department consists of four major program areas: Air Quality, Natural Areas, Recycling and Solid Waste, and Environmental Planning and Information. The Fort Collins community has a strong commitment to the environment, and recognizes that environmental protection is directly related to protecting human health and maintaining a high quality of life.
