Visitors to The Gardens on Spring Creek will be treated to festive decorations throughout the month of December. The Children's Garden and its whimsical residents, a ladybug, butterfly, dragonfly, and giant watering can, will be lit by tens of thousands of LED lights to charm both children and adults. The visitor center will be open late the first three weekends of December so visitors can stop in for free hot cider and chocolate, and holiday sweets. The Garden of Lights will be open from December 1 through December 31 from 5 to 9 PM. The visitor center will stay open until 8:30 PM on December 4 - 6, 11-13, and 18 - 20. Admission is free. Join us on Saturday, December 6, from 10am - 4pm for our annual "Gifts from the Gardens" sale. Purchase your holiday poinsettias and amaryllis grown in The Gardens' greenhouse. Shop in our newly expanded retail area for your favorite gardener or gardener-to-be. Local artists will also be here, selling gift items and holiday decorations. Items include: floral photography, floral dried arrangements, pottery, wire bird sculptures, weavings, and handmade soaps. 27th Annual Toys for KidsThe Gardens on Spring Creek will be a Community Toy Collection Site for the 27th Annual Toys for Kids toy drive, organized by the Northside Aztlan Community Center and the Fort Collins Breakfast Optimists. Bring your donated toy to The Gardens between November 3rd and December 4rth. The toy drive is requesting new toys ($12 - $15 value) for children 3 - 12 years old.
