For January - December 2002

• Processed nearly 240,000 incoming and outgoing phone calls; 51,489 were 9-1-1 calls.
• PECC answered an average of 4,291 emergent calls a month; August was the busiest month with 5,032 calls.
• PECC averaged 2,160 wireless (cell) 9-1-1 calls a month.
• 103,240 non-emergent calls were processed through PECC.
• Over 11,000 Ambulance calls for service were dispatched (including non-emergent patient transfers).
• There were 156,000 police incidents processed through PECC in 2002.
• There were over 11,600 Fire/EMS calls for service dispatched, of which 7,374 were medical related.
