Diggs Brown considers himself your neighbor; just an ordinary guy who wants to make a difference.

He has over 27 years experience in management, investment advising, administration, and operations. A Green Beret officer, in 2003 he returned from a combat tour in Afghanistan where he not only worked to defeat the Taliban and Al Qaeda, but rebuilt a school and a community. His book "Your Neighbor Went to War, Reality and the War on Terror" has received critical acclaim and has lead to appearances on national TV and radio. Currently he is the owner of Diggs Brown and Associates, a financial advisory firm, and continues to serve as a major in the Colorado Army National Guard.

Diggs is an active member of several local advisory boards and committees regarding the betterment of Fort Collins.

Councilman Brown was elected to office in April of 2005.
