Fort Collins Museum

  • Education: lead elementary school tours and facilitate Discovery Touch Carts
  • Exhibits: painting, carpentry, and other aspects of exhibit preparation and installation
  • Front Desk: greet visitors and help orient visitors to the Museum.
  • Museum Store: ring sales on the cash register and answer questions about merchandise.
  • Collections: research artifacts, label and catalogue items, create storage boxes for objects, and enter data.
  • Special Events: setup and teardown, planning and promotion, and serving of refreshments.
  • Local History Archive: indexing historic newspapers, oral histories, maps, and other archival records, scan photographs and entering information in electronic databases, research questions from patrons
  • Docents: educational ambassadors for the Fort Collins Museum who provide fun, interpretive, and hands-on learning experiences for visitors of all ages
