EnvirOvation welcomes citizens to attend this celebratory event and discover how these organizations are transforming their operations and contributing to the environmental and economic sustainability of Fort Collins. Presentations by Mayor Doug Hutchinson and City Manager Darin Atteberry recognize the contributions by all Climate Wise partners and highlight top-level partner milestones that led to tangible results and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The event also features a selected Climate Wise business partner, who offers insights on environmental stewardship with attendees. Special recognition is given to partners who attain Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Active award levels. Full House at EnvirOvation 2008 The 2008 EnvirOvation took place on April 24, 2008, from 3 to 5 pm at the Fort Collins Hilton, and it was very well attended. Approximately 300 citizens and Climate Wise partner representatives shared in the celebration of business and organizational achievements to greater sustainability and economic savings. This year’s featured partner was Woodward Chairman and CEO Tom Gendron, and guests had an opportunity to meet local and national “green” leaders, learn more about the Climate Wise Program, and interact with the program’s city staff and partners. Here’s a peek at a photo gallery of the 2008 EnvirOvation event.
If you didn’t get a chance to attend, here’s a listing of level award partners (750k PDF) and a listing of new Climate Wise Partners.
